Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a Gulf country rather than an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest concentration of professional opportunities. Aviation, tourism, logistics, finance, technology, retail, construction, and hospitality are major employment sectors. The culture combines Islamic traditions, Arab hospitality, and a highly international expatriate community. Dubai offers modern housing, shopping, restaurants, beaches, public transport, and an active social lifestyle, although living costs can be high. Summers are extremely hot, while the cooler months are ideal for outdoor activities. Most foreign employees need employer sponsorship and a residence visa; employers commonly arrange work permits, medical checks, Emirates ID registration, and related documentation. Before relocating, candidates should confirm the contract, benefits, housing allowance, health insurance, probation terms, and visa arrangements. Families may require dependent visas and school planning.
