Emirates is recognised for its wide-body fleet, international workforce, premium service, and significant contribution to Dubai's aviation and tourism sectors. The Emirates Group also includes dnata, a major provider of airport services, catering, and travel services. Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest concentration of professional opportunities. Jobs are available in aviation, logistics, finance, technology, tourism, construction, healthcare, and professional services. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while Islamic traditions influence public behaviour, holidays, dress, and local laws. Lifestyle options range from modern city living, restaurants, shopping, and beaches to desert activities and quieter residential communities. Employment normally requires an employer-sponsored residence visa, medical testing, Emirates ID registration, and a work permit; employees should not work on a tourist visa. Employers often assist with sponsorship and relocation, but applicants should confirm housing, insurance, flights, schooling, and end-of-service terms. Dubai has excellent transport and international connections, though rent and schooling can be expensive. Summers are extremely hot, so air-conditioned indoor facilities are central to daily life.
