Job Description

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, restaurants, and other guest facilities. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and following hygiene and safety standards. Candidates should be physically fit, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred, though suitable applicants may receive training. Good personal presentation, a positive attitude, teamwork, and courteous communication with guests are expected. Cantonese is useful in Hong Kong, while basic English or Mandarin can support communication with guests and colleagues.
