Job Description

The Engineer/Senior Engineer supports the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations, helping keep guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms and building systems safe, reliable and efficient. Typical responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning and other equipment, responding to breakdowns, supervising contractors and maintaining service records. Candidates should have a relevant technical certificate, diploma or engineering qualification, practical hotel or commercial-building maintenance experience, and knowledge of safety procedures. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, teamwork and a guest-focused attitude. Candidates should be comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays, and senior applicants may be expected to guide junior engineers and coordinate maintenance projects.
