Destination Guide

The Philippines offers opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, catering, tourism, and cruise-related hospitality, especially in Metro Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, and Mindanao. Luzon is the main business hub, while Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol are popular resort destinations with a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Filipino culture is welcoming, family-oriented, and strongly influenced by both Asian and Western traditions; English is widely used in workplaces. Living costs vary, with resort islands often having higher prices and fewer services than major cities. Relocation planning should include housing, transport, healthcare, weather, and access to supplies. Tropical heat, rainy seasons, and occasional typhoons should also be considered.
