Job Description

The Pastry Chef (Thai) is expected to prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and Thai-inspired sweets in accordance with Shangri-La standards. Candidates should have professional pastry experience, strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, hygiene, portion control, and kitchen organization. Experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant is preferred. The role requires creativity, consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage production during busy service periods. Candidates should work well with multicultural teams, support junior colleagues, control ingredient costs, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient pastry kitchen. Thai language skills and familiarity with local ingredients are likely to be advantageous.
