Chef De Partie (Pastry)

Job Description

The Chef de Partie (Pastry) is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating and presenting pastries, cakes, desserts and other baked products to Shangri-La’s quality standards. Candidates should have professional pastry or culinary training and previous experience in a hotel, resort, bakery or high-volume kitchen. Strong knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, food safety and hygiene is expected. The role requires attention to detail, creativity, consistency and the ability to follow recipes and production schedules. Candidates should work well under pressure, support junior kitchen colleagues and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
