Duty Manager

Job Description

The Duty Manager supports the daily operation of the hotel, ensuring smooth guest services across front office and other departments. Responsibilities typically include supervising shifts, handling guest requests and complaints, coordinating with housekeeping, security and engineering, monitoring service standards, managing emergencies and preparing operational reports. Candidates should have hotel operations or front-office experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, professional presentation, and confidence leading colleagues during busy periods. Fluency in English is normally required; additional languages and experience with hotel property-management systems are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be guest-focused, calm under pressure, flexible with shifts, and willing to work weekends, public holidays and overnight duties when required.
