Job Description

The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the Director of Engineering in managing hotel facilities, building systems, preventive maintenance and repair operations. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or building services engineering, several years of experience in hotel engineering or a similar property, and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-life-safety and energy-management systems. The candidate is expected to lead technicians, coordinate contractors, maintain compliance with Malaysian regulations, control maintenance costs, respond quickly to operational issues and support sustainability initiatives.
