Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, offering strong employment opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, and events. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the main hospitality centres, while Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah also provide resort-based roles. The culture is diverse and international, with Islamic traditions, respectful dress expectations, and Arabic and English widely used. Lifestyle benefits include modern housing, shopping, beaches, desert activities, and reliable public transport in major cities. Employers normally arrange an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID after hiring; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Relocation packages may include accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and annual flights, depending on the employer. Candidates should confirm salary, service charges, housing, working hours, probation terms, and visa sponsorship before accepting an offer.
