Company Info

Shangri-La Group is a leading luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and residences across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Traders, Kerry Hotels and JEN brands. The company is known for refined accommodation, attentive personal service, destination dining and strong links with local culture. Shangri-La properties typically offer restaurants, bars, conference facilities, wellness services and leisure amenities, serving both international travelers and local guests. In Indonesia, the group has operated high-end hotels and resorts in major business and leisure destinations. Destination Guide

Indonesia offers varied opportunities in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, events and travel services, especially in Bali, Jakarta, Lombok, Batam and other established destinations. Bali is the most popular relocation choice for hospitality professionals, with an international community, strong dining scene and relaxed lifestyle, although housing and traffic can be challenging in busy areas. Indonesian culture places importance on politeness, community, family and religious traditions; customs differ between islands, so respectful dress and behavior are important. Employees can enjoy beaches, diving, mountain scenery, local food and a generally warm climate. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work authorization and KITAS or appropriate limited-stay permit before starting employment. The employer usually handles immigration paperwork, but candidates should confirm sponsorship, medical checks, tax registration, accommodation, insurance and flight arrangements in writing. Costs vary considerably by island and neighborhood.
