Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with major hospitality opportunities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Hotels, resorts, restaurants, airlines, attractions, and event companies regularly recruit in housekeeping, guest services, food and beverage, engineering, and administration. UAE culture combines Emirati traditions, Islamic values, and a highly international population; respectful dress and behaviour are expected. Lifestyle can be modern and convenient, with excellent shopping, beaches, dining, and transport, although summers are extremely hot and living costs can be high. Employers usually sponsor work visas, medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and residency for overseas employees. UAE nationals may receive additional support through Emiratisation initiatives. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, working hours, and benefits before accepting an offer.
