Job Description

The Hygiene & Sanitation Executive is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene across the hotel. Requirements typically include relevant experience in hotel operations, food safety, environmental health or a related discipline, with knowledge of HACCP, Singapore food-safety regulations and sanitation procedures. The successful candidate should be organized, observant and confident in conducting inspections, maintaining records, investigating hygiene concerns and delivering staff training. The role expects close cooperation with kitchen, housekeeping and engineering teams, regular internal audits, prompt corrective action and consistent compliance with Shangri-La standards. Relevant food-safety certification and strong communication skills are advantageous.
