Job Description

The Banking Consultant supports customers with everyday banking needs, including account enquiries, deposits, withdrawals, payments, digital banking and suitable financial products. The role requires strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills, confidence using technology, attention to detail and the ability to follow banking, privacy and compliance procedures. Previous retail, sales, cash-handling or financial-services experience is helpful, although ANZ may provide training. The successful candidate is expected to build trusted customer relationships, identify needs, explain products clearly, complete transactions accurately and contribute to branch sales and service targets. Flexibility to work rostered hours, a professional attitude and a commitment to inclusive, responsible banking are also important.
