Job Description

The Senior Manager, Credit Strategy Oversight role is responsible for overseeing credit strategy, ensuring lending policies support ANZ’s risk appetite, regulatory obligations and business objectives. Requirements typically include substantial experience in credit risk, portfolio management, banking policy or risk governance; strong knowledge of credit frameworks, lending products, data analysis and regulatory expectations; and relevant tertiary qualifications. The successful candidate is expected to challenge credit strategies constructively, monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks, prepare clear recommendations for senior stakeholders and work effectively across risk, product, technology and business teams. Strong communication, influencing, analytical and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex priorities in a large financial institution.
