Electrical Strategist

Job Description

The Electrical Strategist is expected to develop and guide electrical engineering strategies across BlueScope’s Australian operations, supporting safe, reliable and efficient plant performance. Requirements typically include a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, relevant professional registration or eligibility, and substantial experience with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, power distribution, automation interfaces and asset management. The successful candidate should understand Australian electrical standards, risk management, maintenance strategies and capital projects. Strong communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills are essential, as the role involves working with site teams, contractors, engineering specialists and senior leaders.
