Account Manager

Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with BlueScope customers, identifying sales opportunities, managing accounts and supporting long-term business growth. Requirements typically include relevant sales or account-management experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, commercial awareness, customer-service capability and confidence using CRM and business systems. Experience in steel, construction, manufacturing or related industries is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to understand customer needs, provide suitable product solutions, meet sales targets, manage quotations and commercial discussions, resolve issues promptly and collaborate with internal teams including operations, supply chain and technical specialists. Regular customer travel and a valid Australian driver’s licence may be required.
