Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, desert landscapes, and vibrant cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, food and beverage, wellness, and events provide many employment opportunities, particularly for candidates with international hotel experience. UAE culture blends Arab traditions with a highly diverse expatriate community; modest dress, respect for religion, and professional courtesy are important. Lifestyle options range from luxury shopping and dining to water sports, desert trips, and cultural attractions. Employers normally sponsor an employment visa, work permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID for overseas hires. Do not work on a tourist visa. Relocating employees should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, leave, airfare, and gratuity in the written offer. Living costs, especially rent in Dubai, can be high, so employer-provided housing or an allowance is valuable.
