Junior Sous Chef

Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, food preparation, service and kitchen hygiene. Candidates should have professional culinary experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant, along with sound knowledge of international cuisine, food safety, portion control and kitchen procedures. The role requires strong organization, leadership and communication skills, the ability to supervise and motivate culinary colleagues, and confidence working under pressure during busy services. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays is expected. A culinary qualification and knowledge of HACCP standards are typically preferred.
