Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf country rather than an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering extensive opportunities in hospitality, engineering, construction, retail, aviation, finance, and technology. Dubai has a cosmopolitan culture, excellent restaurants, beaches, shopping, and year-round entertainment, while traditional values remain important. English is widely used in workplaces, although Arabic is the official language. The lifestyle is convenient and international, but summers are extremely hot and accommodation costs can be high. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID applications for overseas hires. Candidates should confirm whether housing, transport, meals, insurance, annual leave, flights, and gratuity are included in the offer. Relocating employees generally need a passport, authenticated qualifications where required, and a clear employment contract. Public behavior, dress, alcohol consumption, and online conduct should follow UAE laws and local customs.
