Australia offers hospitality, tourism, events and resort jobs in major cities as well as regional destinations such as the Hunter Valley, the Gold Coast, Cairns and Tasmania. Workplace culture is generally direct, practical and team-oriented, with strong emphasis on customer service, reliability, workplace safety and work-life balance. The lifestyle includes beaches, national parks, outdoor activities, multicultural communities and a high standard of living, although housing and transport costs can be significant. International applicants need the appropriate work rights; possible routes include employer sponsorship, skilled visas and working-holiday visas, depending on nationality, age, occupation and eligibility.
