Job Description

The Business Development Manager – MICE is responsible for generating conferences, meetings, incentives and events business for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort. Requirements typically include proven hotel or hospitality sales experience, strong knowledge of the MICE market, demonstrated account-management and business-development skills, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. The successful candidate is expected to build relationships with corporate clients, event planners and agencies, identify new revenue opportunities, prepare proposals, conduct resort tours, negotiate contracts and achieve sales targets. Familiarity with CRM systems, local and national market trends, and willingness to attend networking events and travel when required are also important. A professional, proactive and commercially focused approach is expected.
