Destination Guide

Australia offers varied opportunities in hospitality, property management, tourism, facilities, construction, healthcare and professional services. Major employment centres include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and the Gold Coast, while regional and resort areas may provide seasonal roles. Australian workplace culture is generally informal, direct and collaborative, with strong emphasis on punctuality, safety, equality and work-life balance. Lifestyle options range from vibrant cities and beaches to outdoor, regional and island environments, though housing and transport costs can be high. Most overseas workers need an appropriate visa, such as an employer-sponsored visa, skilled visa or working holiday visa, depending on nationality, age, qualifications and occupation. Before relocating, candidates should check eligibility, employment conditions, tax, healthcare, accommodation and recognition of qualifications. Australia is not one island but a continent and country surrounded by numerous islands.
