Destination Guide

Australia offers hospitality and cleaning opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, serviced apartments and tourism businesses, especially in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. The culture is generally relaxed, direct and multicultural, with strong expectations around punctuality, workplace safety and fair treatment. Sunshine Coast living provides beaches, outdoor activities, a warm climate and a slower pace than major cities, although rental costs and transport can be challenging. Common visa options include a Working Holiday visa for eligible passport holders, employer-sponsored visas and student visas with limited work rights. Always check current conditions with the Australian Department of Home Affairs before applying. New arrivals usually need a tax file number, Australian bank account and suitable accommodation. Public transport is available around the Sunshine Coast, but a car can be useful for resort work. Healthcare, rent and daily expenses should be budgeted carefully before relocating.
