Job Description

The Casual Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, tidy and welcoming guest rooms, apartments and shared areas at Oaks R Suites Geelong. Duties may include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing linen, replenishing amenities, removing rubbish and reporting maintenance or damage. Applicants should have strong attention to detail, a reliable and flexible approach, good time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous hotel, accommodation or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate should be physically capable of standing, bending and lifting during shifts, present professionally, follow health and safety procedures, and provide consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest service. Availability for weekends, public holidays and varied shifts is likely expected.
