Job Description

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager with the daily operation of the hotel’s restaurant, bar, room service and event services. The role typically requires supervisory experience in hospitality, strong knowledge of service standards, food safety and workplace health and safety, along with excellent communication and organisation skills. A hospitality qualification and experience in a hotel or high-volume venue are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead and motivate team members, coordinate shifts, manage guest requests and complaints, monitor service quality, control costs and assist with stock, training and compliance. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential.
