Job Description

The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the resort’s buildings, grounds, plant, equipment and essential services. Requirements typically include proven facilities, engineering or property maintenance experience, strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, contractor management, workplace health and safety, budgeting and compliance. Trade qualifications or facilities-management credentials are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead maintenance activities, coordinate external contractors, respond promptly to faults, manage maintenance schedules and ensure guests and colleagues enjoy a safe, reliable and well-presented environment. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are important. Resort, hotel or commercial-property experience, along with flexibility to respond to operational issues, would be highly valued.
