Its portfolio includes Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Cunard, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises, and P&O Cruises Australia. Carnival’s corporate operations support shipboard and shoreside teams in areas such as guest services, marine operations, finance, technology, marketing, safety, and human resources. Destination Guide

A cruise-based role is different from working on one island: opportunities may be shipboard, at corporate offices, or in port destinations. Cruise employment commonly includes hospitality, marine operations, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, guest services, technology, and human resources. Life onboard is international and social, with shared accommodation, structured schedules, safety training, and limited personal space. Crew members interact with colleagues and guests from many cultures and may visit several islands during a contract, although port time can be brief. Visa requirements depend on nationality, itinerary, and position; shipboard employees often need a valid passport, medical clearance, background checks, and a crew or transit visa such as a U.S. C-1/D visa. Corporate Miami-based roles generally require U.S. work authorization and may involve relocation. Employees should confirm conditions directly with Carnival before accepting an offer.
