Transport Network Engineer

Job Description

The Transport Network Engineer is expected to design, implement, monitor and maintain telecommunications and data transport networks, including IP, optical, Ethernet and related transmission technologies. Typical responsibilities include network troubleshooting, performance optimization, incident resolution, configuration management, documentation and coordination with vendors or customer teams. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in telecommunications, networking, electrical engineering or a related discipline, together with practical experience in transport network operations. Knowledge of routing, switching, fiber-optic systems, network monitoring tools and service management processes is valuable. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills are expected, as well as the ability to work shifts, support critical incidents and operate effectively in a multinational environment.
