The Executive – Autonomation Engineer will support the design, implementation and improvement of automated manufacturing systems that detect abnormalities and stop processes to protect quality. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Automation Engineering, along with knowledge of PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, robotics, industrial controls and lean manufacturing. Experience with troubleshooting, process improvement, data analysis and continuous improvement methods such as Jidoka, Kaizen or TPM is advantageous. The candidate is expected to work closely with production, maintenance, quality and engineering teams, manage projects, document technical solutions and deliver reliable, safe and cost-effective automation. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork and willingness to work in a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment are important.
