Destination Guide

Thailand offers strong hospitality opportunities on islands and coastal destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Chang, and Koh Lanta. Resorts regularly recruit pastry chefs, cooks, restaurant staff, housekeeping teams, spa professionals, and guest-service employees, with peak hiring often before the high season. Island life is relaxed and outdoor-oriented, with beaches, diving, markets, temples, and distinctive local food. Living costs vary: Phuket and Koh Samui can be expensive, while smaller islands may offer fewer services and limited transport. Thai culture values politeness, respect, modest dress at temples, and maintaining good relationships at work. Foreign employees normally need a job offer, a Non-Immigrant B visa, and a work permit arranged with employer support; requirements can change. Before relocating, confirm accommodation, salary, service charge, medical coverage, transport, contract terms, and seasonal working hours.
