Job Description

The Business Development Manager – MICE is expected to grow meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions business for Shangri-La in the UAE. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in hospitality, business or marketing, several years of hotel sales experience, and a strong network of corporate, agency and event contacts. The successful candidate should be commercially driven, confident in negotiations and presentations, and capable of preparing proposals, managing accounts and achieving revenue targets. Excellent communication, customer relationship management, market knowledge and teamwork are essential. Experience with luxury hotels, international clients and the UAE MICE market would be highly advantageous.
