Job Description

The Chef de Cuisine will lead the kitchen operation of Sirena, a seafood restaurant at Shangri-La in the Philippines. Requirements typically include culinary training, substantial experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant, strong knowledge of seafood preparation, food safety, menu planning, cost control and team supervision. The successful candidate is expected to maintain consistently high culinary standards, manage kitchen staffing and supplies, develop and coach colleagues, control wastage, coordinate with service teams and deliver memorable guest experiences. Leadership, creativity, organization, calm decision-making and willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays are essential.
