Destination Guide

Thailand offers opportunities in luxury hotels, resorts, tourism, engineering, food and beverage, wellness, marine recreation, and property management, particularly in Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, and Pattaya. Island life is generally relaxed and outdoors-oriented, with beaches, water sports, markets, temples, and a strong local food culture. Living costs vary: Phuket and Koh Samui can be relatively expensive in popular areas, while smaller communities may be more affordable. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit before starting work; Thai nationals generally have simpler employment arrangements. Employers may assist with visas, accommodation, transport, insurance, and relocation, especially for senior hotel roles. Candidates should confirm whether the position is on an island or in Bangkok, understand seasonal tourism patterns, and check housing, taxation, healthcare, and transport arrangements before relocating.
