Job Description

The Service Leader - Procurement supports cluster-wide purchasing for Shangri-La properties in Malaysia. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain, hospitality management, business, or a related field, together with several years of hotel purchasing experience. Candidates should understand supplier sourcing, bidding, negotiations, purchase orders, inventory coordination, contract compliance, and procurement systems. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills are expected, along with commercial awareness and knowledge of local suppliers. The successful candidate will be reliable, ethical, detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and capable of coordinating with kitchens, engineering, housekeeping, finance, and operational leaders across multiple properties.
