Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality and procurement opportunities in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Davao and other resort destinations. Jobs are available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, property groups, logistics and shared-services companies. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented and relationship-driven, with English widely used in business. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living in Manila to a slower, outdoor-focused pace on resort islands; beaches, diving, festivals and varied regional cuisine are major attractions. Foreign hires usually need an employer-sponsored work permit and an appropriate visa, while requirements depend on nationality, contract and role. Employers commonly assist with documentation, but candidates should confirm current rules with Philippine immigration authorities. Relocation costs, traffic, humidity and healthcare access should be considered, especially outside major cities. Housing may be arranged independently or provided as part of a resort package.
