Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry Hotels, JEN, and Traders brands. Shangri-La is known for Asian-inspired hospitality, attentive service, and high standards in guest experience. Destination Guide

Malaysia offers opportunities in hospitality, procurement, tourism, retail, technology, manufacturing, and shared services, especially in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor, Langkawi, and Sabah. The country combines Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indigenous, and international influences, with diverse food, festivals, and languages; English is widely used in business and hotels. Lifestyle costs are moderate compared with many global cities, although Kuala Lumpur and popular resort islands can be more expensive. Beaches, rainforests, diving, and island living are major attractions, while urban areas provide strong transport, healthcare, and shopping facilities. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass, with approval and documentation handled through the company and Malaysian authorities before starting work. Relocating candidates should confirm accommodation, medical cover, tax obligations, dependent eligibility, and whether the employer provides flights or relocation support. Malaysia is generally welcoming, but tropical weather, traffic, and cultural etiquette should be considered.
