Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, with coastal resorts and many hospitality opportunities. Hotels, cafés, restaurants, airlines, tourism companies, and luxury resorts regularly recruit international workers. The culture is multicultural and respectful, with Islamic traditions shaping dress, public behavior, and holiday schedules. The lifestyle ranges from modern shopping, beaches, dining, and nightlife to desert activities and heritage sites. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are comfortable. Employers usually sponsor a residence and work visa after a formal offer; working without authorization is prohibited. Contracts may include accommodation, transport, medical insurance, and meals. Relocating candidates should verify salary, housing, probation, leave, flights, and gratuity terms in writing. Costs are higher in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so accommodation benefits can significantly affect savings.
