Job Description

The Chef de Cuisine will lead the South Italian kitchen, developing authentic menus, maintaining high culinary standards and overseeing daily food preparation and service. Candidates should have substantial experience in Italian cuisine, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or high-end restaurant, with strong knowledge of regional ingredients, sauces, pasta, seafood and traditional cooking methods. The role requires proven team leadership, menu planning, cost control, food safety awareness and the ability to train and motivate kitchen colleagues. Shangri-La expects a hands-on, creative and disciplined chef who can deliver consistent quality, manage busy operations, control waste and maintain excellent guest satisfaction while working collaboratively with other departments.
