Store & Receiving Officer

Job Description

The Store & Receiving Officer manages the receipt, inspection, storage and issuing of food, beverages, operating supplies and other hotel materials. Requirements typically include secondary education or a relevant certificate, previous experience in hotel stores, receiving, purchasing or inventory control, basic computer skills, and familiarity with stock records and delivery documentation. The candidate is expected to check quantities and quality against purchase orders, maintain accurate inventory records, follow food safety and workplace procedures, coordinate with suppliers and hotel departments, and keep storage areas clean, secure and well organized. Physical fitness, attention to detail, honesty, reliability and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays are important.
