The HSE Advisor will support telecommunications projects by implementing UGL’s health, safety and environmental systems, conducting site inspections, assisting with risk assessments and method statements, investigating incidents, and providing practical advice to supervisors and subcontractors. Candidates are generally expected to hold relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety, along with experience in construction, utilities, telecommunications or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, excellent communication skills, incident-reporting capability and confidence working across active sites are important. A current driver’s licence, willingness to travel and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams are also likely to be required.
