Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

UGL is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Australia to support the financial and commercial control of construction or infrastructure projects. The role typically requires a relevant quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or commercial qualification, along with practical experience in cost planning, estimating, procurement, subcontract administration, variations, progress claims, forecasting, and final accounts. Candidates should be confident interpreting drawings, specifications, and contracts, and using estimating or project-control systems. Strong numerical, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are expected. The successful applicant will work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining accurate cost records and identifying commercial risks while meeting UGL’s safety, quality, ethical, and delivery standards.
