Job Description

The Kitchen Coordinator supports the kitchen leadership team with daily administration, communication and operational coordination. Typical requirements include relevant hospitality or kitchen experience, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, computer literacy and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate information between chefs, stewards, suppliers and other departments, assist with rosters, ordering, records and meetings, and help maintain smooth kitchen operations. A professional attitude, clear communication, reliability and an understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety and Marriott service standards are important. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays is generally required in a resort environment.
