Destination Guide

Australia offers hospitality opportunities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, regional resorts, and coastal destinations. Hotels commonly recruit in front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, kitchens, events, and guest services. Workplace culture is generally informal but professional, with emphasis on punctuality, teamwork, safety, and direct communication. Melbourne provides excellent public transport, diverse food, arts, sport, and a broad lifestyle, although rent and living costs can be high. International applicants must hold appropriate work rights, such as a Working Holiday visa, student visa with permitted work hours, employer-sponsored visa, or permanent residency. Visa conditions vary and should be checked through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Relocating usually requires arranging accommodation, tax and banking details, healthcare cover, and a Tax File Number. Australia is a large island continent, so distances between cities can be substantial.
