The Demi Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and maintaining consistent standards across restaurant and banquet operations. Candidates should have commercial kitchen experience, sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, and the ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately. A relevant culinary qualification or apprenticeship is desirable. The role requires teamwork, reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment. The successful candidate is expected to maintain clean work areas, minimise waste, communicate effectively with chefs and colleagues, and work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
