The General Technician supports the resort’s Engineering and Maintenance team by keeping guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems in safe and reliable working condition. Typical duties include preventive maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, air-conditioning checks, carpentry, painting, troubleshooting, and responding promptly to maintenance requests. Candidates should have practical experience in hotel or building maintenance, basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and the ability to use maintenance tools safely. A vocational qualification or technical training is advantageous. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, good communication, teamwork, flexibility for shifts, and a strong commitment to guest service, safety standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.
