Job Description

The Hygiene Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, personal hygiene, sanitation, and regulatory compliance throughout the hotel. Requirements typically include experience in hotel hygiene, food safety, or quality control; knowledge of HACCP principles and local health regulations; strong inspection, reporting, and training skills; and the ability to work across kitchens, restaurants, stewarding, and other operational areas. The successful candidate is expected to conduct regular audits, monitor cleaning and sanitation procedures, identify risks, maintain accurate records, coach colleagues, and support corrective actions. A relevant food safety qualification and hospitality experience are usually preferred.
