Company Info

Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating and franchising thousands of hotels and resorts across a broad portfolio of brands, including Marriott Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Westin, Sheraton, W Hotels, and Courtyard. The company provides accommodation, food and beverage, meetings, events, wellness, and travel-related services in many international markets. Marriott places strong emphasis on guest experience, associate development, inclusion, ethical business practices, and career mobility. Its Voyage Program is designed to develop promising graduates through structured learning, mentoring, and hands-on experience in hotel or corporate functions. Destination Guide

Japan is an island country with major employment concentrated in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and regional resort destinations. Hospitality opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, tourism, sales, events, reservations, and guest services, with English and Japanese skills especially valuable. Japanese culture places importance on punctuality, politeness, teamwork, cleanliness, and respect for workplace hierarchy. Tokyo offers excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, and international communities, but housing and daily costs can be high. Candidates should budget for rent, deposits, transport, and health insurance. Foreign employees normally need an appropriate work status, often the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa for sales or marketing work. The employer typically supports or sponsors the application, but requirements include a qualifying degree or experience and a valid employment contract. Confirm visa sponsorship, salary, housing support, language expectations, and relocation costs directly with Marriott before accepting an offer.
