Job Description

The Cook III-Pastry prepares breads, cakes, desserts, pastries, and other baked items according to hotel recipes and quality standards. Candidates are generally expected to have culinary or pastry training, previous experience in a professional kitchen or bakery, good knowledge of baking methods, food safety, hygiene, and ingredient handling. The role requires accuracy, creativity, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods. The successful candidate should maintain clean work areas, control portion sizes and food waste, follow Marriott and hotel standards, communicate well with colleagues, and support senior pastry chefs with daily production. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required.
