The Heart of the House Specialist (Steward) supports the kitchen and food and beverage operation by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment; maintaining clean storage and work areas; removing waste; and following hygiene, health, and safety procedures. The role generally requires physical stamina, attention to cleanliness, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous stewarding, kitchen, or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently in a busy environment, follow instructions, handle cleaning chemicals safely, maintain Marriott service standards, and support chefs and colleagues whenever required.
